The Rincon del Tigre (RdT) complex is one of South America’s largest and best-developed mafic-ultramafic layered intrusions. It is set in the SE Bolivian lowlands, about 50 km from the Brazilian border.The BGS (British Geological Survey) and GEOBOL (Servicio Geologico de Bolivia) carried out an initial investigation of the RdT complex from 1976 to 1986. In this sense, the paper point out the geology background of The Rincon del Tigre, economical potential, typical ore secuence in laterite nickle deposit and pega pega erosional surface (Oligocene).

This paper details a 2MLD ion exchange water treatment plant which selectively removes arsenic, antimony, iron, hardness, and sulphate from mining water; designed to meet environmental quality indicators such as sulphates. The client, Fosterville Gold Mine Pty Ltd, is owned by Kirkland Lake Gold and is one of the world’s highest grade gold mines. The site located near Melbourne, Australia had identified a risk of reduced mine water storage capacity due to surface run-off and increased sulphate rich dewatering of the underground mine at depth. Clean TeQ Water carried out the project management, process design, procurement, and commissioning for the plant, which was handed over in August 2020.

Mineral deposits with large data uses different block dimensions in Long term planning (LTP), short term planning (STP), and ore control (OC). Using applications can Re-block, Krige, Compute variable, Compute Route, etc. necessary block models with multiple dimensions can be created. For instance, disseminated deposits require granular ore control block model because mineralization can be unpredictable. Then different block size must be created for the ore control activity and different block size must be shaped individually in LTP, STP, and OC.

La microcuenca Tres Ríos, está ubicada en el distrito de Cajamarca, Región Cajamarca y al NW de la ciudad de Cajamarca, abarcando el centro poblado de Chámis, Corizorgona, Collpayoj y parte de Ronquillo, con un área aproximada de 39.653055km2, a una elevación de 2800 a 3800msnm. Ubicada a 10 km aproximadamente de la ciudad de Cajamarca. Las Formaciones existentes en la microcuenca Tres Ríos son del Ki-desde el Aptiano (Grupo Goyllarisquizaga) con la Fm. Farrat hasta Ks-Turoniano con la Fm. Cajamarca. (Boletín 31.Serie a.-Geología del Perú-INGEMMET). Siendo las primeras Formaciones las más importantes a tomar en cuenta para la construcción reservorios artesanales para el almacenamiento del agua.

Para el desarrollo del presente trabajo, se han realizado estudios de caracterización mineralógica correspondientes a diferentes muestras de la veta Bienaventurada y de la roca caja de la mina Bienaventurada (nivel 4230 zona SW) de la compañía minera Kolpa S.A. En la roca caja, se efectuaron estudios petrográficos y de DRX para determinar la composición de la roca y de sus alteraciones.

A paper presented at Perumin 35 in 2022 described the concepts and a state-of-the-art system with extruded curbs and PVC anchor wings, adopted among others at the first four stages of Las Bambas tailings dam in Peru, discussing how upstream geomembrane water barriers can mitigate the numerous issues, including environmental aspects, of tailings dams’ design and operation. This paper, beside presenting a summary of what has been carried out so far at Las Bambas, amplifies the subject, presenting the results by means of the data of the leakage monitoring system, showing that the flow monitoring data at the downstream toe are seasonally consistent, and in alignment with design predictions.

The paper point out the structural openings and the localization of ore bodies. Structural openings in rocks constitute the primary permeability network for the formation of most hydrothermal ore deposits. The distribution, geometry, density, and orientation of ore bodies in structural openings are controlled by two primary factors: the far and near field stresses and the mechanical properties of rock. When stress controls the orientation and kinematics of faults and fractures in the absence of pre-existing weaknesses, ore shoot orientation is perpendicular to the fault slip vector and can be predicted by kinematic analysis. However, when structural openings form along pre-existing weaknesses, ore shoot orientation cannot always be predicted by kinematic analysis. Because we can classify ore bodies based on the types of geological structures discussed above and the variations that naturally occur from material property heterogeneity, exploration for hydrothermal ore deposits should include analysis of geologic structure and evolution, rheological variations, pre-existing weakness, and fault kinematics to evaluate structuralcontrols on localization of ore bodies.

"The paper point out the zinc in the epithermal environmet. The zinc deposits are well known in a variety of sedimentary settings as well as in association with igneous centers, but have attracted little attention in theepithermal environment. Nevertheless, zinc accompanied by gold and silver occurs in several styles of both high- and intermediate-sulfidation epithermal mineralization. However, low-sulfidation deposits are everywhere zinc-poor. High-grade epithermal zinc deposits are hosted by carbonate rocks in transition zones between the HS and IS environments, whereas large tonnages of lowgrade epithermal zinc mineralization of either HS or IS type occur in diatreme breccias or impregnate lacustrine sedimentary rocks around volcanic centers."

Por ello, el presente texto señala el control de este proceso a través de diversas técnicas con inteligencia artificial. El presente trabajo señala una variación en la preparación del Under Cut como método de Explotación Sub Level Stopping 3 en la mina Iván -en tanto es usado como subnivel para el reconocimiento, perforación radial y ventana de extracción durante el proceso productivo. El desarrollo de este método contempla una rampa principal de acceso, desde donde se realiza el trabajo de preparación de la cámara para su posterior explotación.De otro lado, se resalta la importancia del estudio geomecánico para el dimensionamiento de la cámara y la secuencia de explotación en el planeamiento de minado.

Este procedimiento comprende la perforación horizontal (tipo de mallas para roca suave, semidura y dura, mallas antiguas y mallas optimizadas actuales), perforación vertical y el sistema Casing, tipo de mallas para roca suave, semidura, dura. Asimismo, el diseño y la aplicación de las mallas de perforación y voladura tipo VCR permite tener un menor metraje en taladros de producción, un menor consumo de explosivos y un buen control de la fragmentación del material.
