Porphyry type mineralization of Lower Cretaceous age in eastern Queensland has been recognized only from the easternmost part of the northern New England Orogen (Day, Murray and Whitaker, 1978), within the northern Yarrol Province (Horton,1982). Recent work about the Mt. Suthers (Pb, Zn, Ag, Cu, Au), Lug-e-nor (Cu, Pb, Zn, Ag, Au, Mo), and German Tully (Cu, Au, Bi) prospects suggest that there has been a phase of porphyry type mineralization within the Gympie Province, of Lower Cretaceous age, overprinting earlier Permo-Triassic phases. About the Mt. Suthers Prospect surface samples of shallow, medium to heavy textured soils derived from marine sedimentary rocks of Permian age, and extrusive and intrusive igneous rocks of intermediate composition and Triassic age, were analysed for Cu, Zn, Pb, Co, Cr, Ni, Fe, V, Mn and Ag. Whereas strong iithological control determined the distribu- tion of Cu (diorite) and of Cr, Ni, Fe and V ,sedimentary rocks), the distribution of Pb, Zn, Ag and of Cu, were determined by mineralization of faults by a cavity fill hydrothermal process. Gold is associated with the Pb, Zn, Ag mineralization. Co and Mn showed distributions independent of lithology and structure. The fault controlled style of mineraliz- ation at Mt. Suthers is repeated at other localities to the south; Calgoa, Marodian, and German Gully. Relative dating of structural features and isotopic dating of nornblende porphyrites (134-135 m.y.) near and related to those mineralized at German c;ully suggest a previously unrecognized phase of porphyry copper style mineralization in south-east Queensland of Lower Cretaceous age (Fig. 1).

The impact computers are having in geoscience is distinctly mixed. In the petroleum industry where much of the data are based on geophysics, computers have become an integral part of exploration and reservoir evaluation and simulation. In the minerals industry, the trend to computerisation is more advanced in some disciplines than others. Geophysical and remote sensing data are routinely processed and imaged using state of the art computer techniques. Mine surveying, planning, design and resource and ore reserve estimation are now all predominantly reliant on computers. However senior management of many companies, particularly in the mineral exploration industry, are still reticent to fully embrace the technology. 3D computer modelling of geology and orebody delineation is still largely in its infancy. Two current and significant drawbacks to the routine use of computer modelling of geology in both mining and exploration are the tedious and time consuming modelling process and the lack of seamless interaction between 3D computer-aided drafting (CAD) software and geographical information systems (GIS) which are largely 2D in their data treatment. There is an urgent need for a 3D spatial information system (eg 3D GIS) with intelligent and rapid modelling functionality. One of the keys to the successful building of 3D geological computer models begins with data base structure and design to ensure that there is no loss of data fidelity through data capture, storage, manipulation and modelling. Once a model is constructed, the latest generations of visualisation software provide sophisticated environments over a range of hardware platforms for visualisation in both mono and stereo viewing. The face of project evaluation is changing continuously, making it ever more critical to get a clear understanding upfront of the objectives, decision-making processes and criteria of the project proponents. Requirements are usually significantly different for emerging æjuniorsÆ compared with long established major mining houses and companies in developing countries compared with western companies. Requirements are also different for different types of evaluations, such as due diligence studies compared with feasibility studies of æownedÆ projects and there are often key misunderstandings around the use of the term æbankableÆ. Further, it has become increasingly important with increasingly remote and lower quality resources to understand risk relativities such as infrastructure compared with the core processing facilities. This has also driven the need for more trade-off studies to determine the best balance between critical issues, such as optimisation of the interface between mine and processing plant, capital versus operating cost and automation versus labour. In every project evaluation, it is also critical to consider emerging trends and changing requirements and standards such as sustainability and community interface. Finally, the inescapable drive to reduce time to market has driven changes such as increased use of more standardised designs and innovative approaches to the transition from project development to execution. This paper begins with a brief review of the different objectives and risks of each project development stage to establish a framework for subsequent discussion of the different requirements of different types of companies in different locations, different types of evaluations and different types of projects and project components. This is followed by a review of changing requirements and standards and some innovative developments in sustainability and community interface are presented. Finally, the paper outlines a number of developments in the area of operational readiness planning that focus on minimising the time to achieve maximum return on investment.

In combination with detailed field studies and goaf gas characterisation, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models have been used to develop optimum and effective strategies for inertisation during longwall sealing operations to achieve goaf inertisation within a few hours of panel seal-off operation. This study has combined detailed analysis of the performance of various inertisation field trials together with CFD modelling results of different inertisation operations in order to develop the optimum inertisation strategies. A number of parametric studies were conducted on the base case CFD models that had been calibrated and validated based on the information obtained from previous inertisation studies and goaf gas monitoring. These studies included changes in inert gas injection locations, inert gas flow rates, seam gradients, and different inertisation strategies to investigate their effect on goaf inertisation. Studies indicate that the strategy of inert gas injection through the MG seal was not as effective as the alternative strategy of inert gas injection at 200 m behind the face. Innovative inertisation strategies have been developed and subsequently implemented at an underground coal mine in Australia. Further investigations have been carried out in the development and demonstration of proactive inertisation strategies with the objective to suppress the occurrence of spontaneous heatings in active longwall faces, in particular under unexpected scenarios such as during slow retreat/face stoppage due to difficult geological conditions. Initial trials at two Australian longwall panels have demonstrated the great potential of this practice to contain the onset of heatings in the goaf.

The WA Goldfields is a highly productive gold and nickel mining area, but is arid with highly saline groundwater. Groundwater is widely used to supply process water to mines in the region but high groundwater salinity, commonly exceeding 50 000 mg/L TDS, tends to increase processing costs, limit end uses for the water, cause problems with disposal and potentially increase impacts on a sensitive arid environment. The area has low rainfall (200 - 270 mm/year) but run-off, particularly during cyclonic events, is high. Our experience suggests that stream flow from catchments in the area can produce a divertible yield of 8 - 17 ML/km2/year. An evaluation of stream flow harvesting using AnglogoldÆs Jubilee Pit predicted that 1000 ML/year of good quality water could reliably be supplied to the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Because of high rainfall variability, it is likely that an alternate source of water supply will be necessary when operating a surface-water harvesting scheme in the WA Goldfields. However, a combination surface/groundwater supply could have substantial cost, operational and environmental benefits compared to traditional supply systems that utilise groundwater only.

Ore samples from the South, Central and North ore-bodies of the King Cassilis Mine, near Omeo, Victoria, were broken and transported to Melbourne for experimental metallurgical treatment. A microscopical examination of individual unoxidised specimens, selected from these samples, was undertaken in order to thro'w as much light as possible on the occurrence of the gold which forms the valuable economic mineral in the ore.The following descriptions are the outcome' of this examination and show that very minute particles of free gold are mechanically associated with the sulphides. While the gold may be separated from the transparent gangue minerals by the flotation of the sulphides, the, actual size of the particles indicates that it is impossible to separate all the gold from the sulphides by grinding the ore to pass through a screen of 200 mesh in which the average width of the holes is 0.063 mm. The Burragorang Valley lies approx. 95 km by road south west of Sydney and some 35 km west of Camden. It is over 80 km in length and varies in width from 3 km to over 16 km. Geologically, the history of the Burragorang Valley is of interest. It was referred to by early geographers and N.R.M.A. booklets as the largest sunken valley in Australia. This description is incorrect as it is a water worn valley formed by the dissection of an uplift in the south western portion of the large Sydney Sedimentary Basin. Ages2 ago there extended right across the Blue Mountains, a continuous tableland into which the Nattai, Wollondilly and Cox's Rivers have carved out the formation of the Burragorang. This dissection together with other valleys such as the Megalong, Jamieson and Grose, formed part of the eastward drainage pattern of the uplifting tableland into the Pacific ocean. Christmas Island "C"-grade phosphate consists essentially of the minerals crandallite and millisite. Although containing over 25% P205, this material is not suitable for the manufacture of water-soluble phosphate fertilizers by conventional processes, because of its high iron and aluminium content Cover 25% total R203). In order to produce a water-soluble fertilizer from such material it is necessary to separate the iron and aluminium from the phosphate, which must report in a product acceptable as a fertilizer. Several processes were studied in detail. The first used ion exchange for dissolution and separation and yielded diammonium phosphate; processing costs were high compared with conven- tional processes based on apatite. The latter processes have basically simple flowsheets and cost of processing is low when compared with the costs of the raw materials. The need to separate iron and aluminium from the phosphate introduces additional complexity into the treatment of the C-grade material. The higher processing costs might be justified, however, if alumina could be produced as a byproduct. Two proposed processes have been developed in which: 1. hydrochloric acid is used for dissolution, and solvent extrac- tion for the separation of ferric chloride from phosphoric acid. Aluminium chloride is precipitated and hydrolysed to recover alumina and hydrochloric acid. 2. sulphuric acid is used for dissolution and aluminium is crystallized as ammonium alum. The phosphate is produced as an ammonium phosphate-sulphate fertilizer. High purity alumina can be obtained by treatment of the recrystallized alum. The technology of these processes is described, and their broad economics discussed briefly.\

Optical microscopy is a basic but still indispensable tool for examining mineral parageneses in ores. The design and concepts behind the reflected light ore microscope have obviously not been subject to spectacular technical evolutions in the last decades. However, digital imaging capabilities have opened new and stimulating perspectives for automated mineral identification. Recent works in developing multispectral image analysis (Pirard, 2004) have demonstrated its superior potential with respect to conventional colour imaging, but at the same time reconciliation with spectroscopic databases such as the Quantitative Data File III (Criddle and Stanley, 1993) still needs a more in-depth investigation as well as the possibility to extend both imaging and spectroscopy into the near infrared domain. In this paper, the authors present results gained from multispectral imaging in the range between 400 and 1000 nm together with spectrophotometric data from the QDFIII database, with an emphasis on minerals that cannot be easily distinguished in the visible spectrum.

Optimal throughput is a key objective for the successful operation of any manufacturing or processing business. In the mining industry in particular, in order to obtain maximum return on the significant capital investment in the physical assets involved, ensuring continuous throughput is a major focus for the complete leadership team. Failure to meet throughput objectives becomes a major source of distraction for management which too often attempts to solve shortfalls by æforcingÆ and æenforcingÆ production targets. This focus on the short term and the lack of attention to addressing root causes frustrates operators who attempt to satisfy unattainable short-term targets and lose sight of the long-term goal. Mount Isa Copper Operations, Xstrata Copper, North Queensland, had ambitious plans to increase throughput volume by ten per cent within a four month period to allow budgets to be achieved within the financial year. To achieve this, the process had to overcome the interplay of a multi-node (æsiloedÆ) production system and its associated inventories, each node, of which on the face of it at least, had more than enough ænameplateÆ capacity to meet these plans. However, the actual volume achieved at the end point of the system was well below this nameplate capacity and the system operated with an extraordinarily high standard deviation. The key issues in terms of making or exceeding plan were: how to substantially reduce the variability of the system and managing the inventories between nodes, how to synchronise throughput between the production nodes, and how to improve the decision-making ability within the process. In this paper, the implementation team has shown that a revolutionary process view of the operation together with appropriate planning decisions allowed increased throughput to be achieved without further capital investment.

Over the past 18 months the De Beers Consolidated Mines Ltd operations have made a concerted effort to move away from using the traditional shock tube initiating systems. These systems are being systematically replaced by the use of electronic delay detonators (EDD). Various trials were conducted in both host rock and kimberlite rock masses to improve tunnel advance as well as to optimise delay timing during trough openings (Ngoma et al, 1999; Mohle, 1999; Baltus, 2000). The high cost of EDDÆs, when compared with traditional initiation systems, led to a number of detailed studies being conducted on the mines where EDDÆs were being used. These studies aimed to quantify the additional benefits when blasting with electronic detonators. The studies showed that the change was justified on the basis of increased quality control and reliability gained through the use of EDDÆs. However, these benefits attract other related benefits, like fragmentation control, and backbreak reductions. When compared to the shock tube initiating systems the increased development face advance and the reduction of oversize during production blasting using EDDs, compared favourably to the less costly systems. As blasting engineers gained experience and confidence in the use of the system bigger blasts were initiated in mass under-cut blasts and slot raise development, by using multiple hole firing and second delay periods between holes. In the open pit and sublevel open stope mining methods the control of the fragmentation distribution and the effect of the mass of explosive detonated during a blast is detrimental to the loading and hauling production rates and the stability of the rock mass behind the blast. With a stable rock mass the bench cutting can be executed to establish steeper overall slope angles leading to large cost savings due to a reduction in waste stripping. It is the purpose of this paper to indicate through quantification that the use of the EDDs as an initiating system improves all-round blasting performances and assists in meeting customer requirements. Despite the limited literature regarding the pressure filtration of mine tailings (compared to the large number of papers published each year on paste thickening of tailings) the number of mines dry stacking filtered tailings is approximately equal to the number of mines storing tailings in paste form. Main drivers for filtering tailings are: water recovery, future rehabilitation costs for tailings storage area and permitting requirements. In arid climates, the cost and scarcity of water justify the capital and operating costs associated with pressure filters. Further justification for filtered tailings is the potential for progressive reclamation of the dry stack, which can proceed earlier and faster than the reclamation of a tailings dam.Filtered tailings must be transported to the storage area by trucks or conveyors. For dry stacking, 70 - 80 per cent solids content (by mass) is typically acceptable, however the primary goal is to provide a filter cake that is consolidated and dry enough to prevent bridging and build-up on the materials handling equipment. It has been observed that high average solids contents (~70 per cent) can be achieved while the centre of the filter cakes is still wet and sticky, presenting challenges for the transportation of the solids. Appropriate controls must be in place to ensure consistently easy to handle solids are discharged from the filter.FLSmidth has installed two fine coal tailings dewatering systems in the United States. One of these systems incorporates a Deep Cone Thickener« upstream of the filter press to minimise the amount of water that must be filtered, while the other tailings filter press is fed by a high rate thickener. The Red Lake mine is one of the richest gold mines in the world. The primary mining methods are overhand and underhand cut and fill. Starting in 2003, Goldcorp initiated an expansion program at the mine. The expansion includes a new 6.55 m diameter hoisting shaft currently under construction. The shaft will be driven to a length of over 2180 m. The shaft will be used as a primary ventilation intake to the mine. In addition to the new hoisting shaft, a return air raise is being driven approximately 1690 m from surface. This raise will be a parallel return to the existing mine infrastructure. This paper describes the ventilation and climatic analyses performed in support of the expansion project. The study included a full mine ventilation survey, in situ rock mass measurements, analysing options related to mine layout, airway sizing calculations, air heating options, and climatic simulations. Specifications were prepared for an air heating system and main and booster fans. Analyses were also performed related to heat in the stoping areas namely caused by auxiliary fans and backfill with high cement content.

Reliable sampling practices are the key to optimising the market value of a mining or chemical companyÆs stock. As a result, reliable sampling standards are needed. However, current standards on sampling present the æuniversalÆ Pierre GyÆs Sampling Theory in an ambiguous way. For example, the Total Sampling Error is divided into its basic components only in informative annexes, when it should clearly be the main body of the standard. Sampling standards are presently loaded with statistical concepts that actually belong in the annexes. Furthermore, many non-probabilistic sampling procedures are still mentioned which do not belong in a standard. The objective is not to criticise existing sampling standards, but to suggest better ones. Sections on the Sampling Theory should divide the Total Sampling Error into a sum of its nine basic components. Then, and only then, should they be addressed one at the time. Sections for establishing a sampling protocol should address the in situ Nugget Effect, the Fundamental Error, the Grouping and Segregation Error, the Long Range Quality Fluctuation Error, and the Periodic Quality Fluctuation Error. Sections for sampling methods, mechanical sampling, manual sampling, grab sampling, sampling of trucks, railroad cars, bags, and drums should be part of the critically important practical implementation of a recommended sampling protocol, called Sampling Correctness. It includes the increment Delimitation Error, the increment Extraction Error, the Weighting Error, and the Preparation Errors. Unless these errors are addressed one at a time, in an unambiguous way, the standard will remain ineffective in solving sampling problems for the industry. Therefore, a strategy is needed to create better standards required at the early stages of new projects, both by manufacturers of sampling equipment and by engineering firms. A logical sequence of important points that cannot be ignored in any sampling standard is presented. An analysis of the practical use of the words sampling uncertainty versus sampling error is recalled. Finally, as a practical example, an in-depth analysis of the correctness of cross-belt samplers is presented, and emphasis is placed on the correct ways to perform bias-tests for mechanical sampling systems.

This paper summarises the performance of the gold exploration industry in the Western World since 1970, with particular emphasis on the period 1985 - 2003. It identifies the number and size of major (ie >1 million ounce) primary gold discoveries made over this period by location and type of company. Estimates are also made of the likely contribution from smaller discoveries down to 0.1 million ounces. It also assesses the overall trend in the percentage of grassroot discoveries that are converted into mines, and the time taken to get them into production. By comparing the discovery data against total exploration expenditures it is possible to determine the average unit cost of finding a major gold deposit. It is significant to note that the average unit cost per discovery and per ounce of resource has tripled over the last 30 years. An attempt is made to determine the overall economic value generated by the industry. This is based on a detailed analysis of the rates of return and the Net Present Values (NPVs) of 109 major gold projects. After including an adjustment for discoveries not modelled, the NPVs are compared against the total amount of money spent on exploration to determine the value-to-cost ratio for the industry. Based on historical spot gold prices and tax rules, it is found that the return on investment for gold exploration in the Western World over the period 1985 - 2003 was around five per cent real after-tax. The returns achieved in the US and Australia was significantly higher than that for Canada. The returns also appear to have declined in recent years. With regard to the relative performance of junior versus major companies, the paper estimates that the junior sector accounted for 30 - 40 per cent of the total exploration expenditure, and were was associated with 34 per cent of the total number of major deposits, 27 per cent of the contained ounces and 25 per cent of the economic value found.

In south-eastern King Island, sediments and lavas of possible Upper Proterozoic to Lower Cambrian age have been intruded by Lower Carboniferous granitic rocks.Within the contact aureole of the Bold Head adamellite north of Grassy the sediments and lavas have been metamorphosed to hornblende hornfels facies grade. The thermal gradient within the contact aureole was small, as the hornfelses exhibit no mineral zoning over a distance of 700 ft from the adamellite.Skarns occur both within the adamellite near its contact with the country rocks, and within the country rocks as partial replacements of three dolomitic limestone horizons. The latter type, the exoskarns, commonly have an andradite-salite mineralogy and carry economic concentrations of scheelite. These resulted from the replacement of carbonate beds due to both diffusion and infiltration metasomatism. Silica, tungsten, minor sulphides, and water were introduced from the adamellite, while aluminium and iron diffused from the enclosing pelitic sediments. Calcium released during marble replacement countered the loss of iron and aluminium in the pelitic hornfelses transforming them to diopside-rich rocks.Endoskarns within the adamellite are the result of two way diffusion across the contact; calcium, aluminium, and iron diffused from sediment to adamellite as silica, potassium, sodium, and water diffused from adamellite to the sediments. From estimates of the lithostatic pressure and mole fraction of CO2, the mineral assemblages of the hornfelses imply that the temperature of metamorphism lay between 530° and 710°C. This temperature range is in good agreement with minimum temperatures, between 610° and 710°C, for the recrystallization of the marbles of the contact aureole, calculated from the determinations of the solid solution of the magnesite molecule in calcite.

Giving the keynote address in the final session of a conference dealing with closely related topics has a disadvantage in that much of what can be said has been said. It also has an advantage, however, because it presents the speaker with the opportunity to integrate and analyse the material presented by the various speakers. I would like to look to the near future in Aust- ralia and the United States of America, to the risks, problem areas, and changes of a rapidly evolving post-industrial era-an era we are begin- ning to experience where industry no longer `calls the tune'. We miners have been quick to point out and emphasize, that ours is a `high-risk' industry in the world of business and commerce. Yet, clearly those who have survived, and been successful, have learned to anticipate and cope with risk and change. This ability has been a distinguishing feature of the industry's leaders who, in market studies and commodity selection, exploration and development, mine planning, metallurgical pro- cessing, and general administration and operation 1. identify areas of risk or inevitable change, 2. analyse, test and quantify those factors of risk or change, and 3. design methods, systems, equipment to elim- inate, moderate, or control or economically compensate for predicted risks or changes.

Solid EnergyÆs project evaluation process utilises a standard staged gate approach, with five levels leading ultimately to project execution (level 6). For a project to progress through each level, specific financial criteria need to be satisfied. Solid Energy primarily use value based (discounted cash flow) metrics to support investment decisions. Within this approach Solid Energy utilise a number risk-based techniques to quantify project uncertainty. This includes the use of risk-based probabilistic analysis using Monte Carlo simulation and probability-based scenario analysis. Figure 1 shows the net present value (NPV) cumulative probability. Project risks are identified through comprehensive risk workshops. The output of these workshops (list of key risks, ranges of uncertainty and probability of occurrence), is quantified within the financial models. Incorporating this risk information on a probabilistic basis allows an investment decision to be made with a robust knowledge of the range of possible project outcomes along with the likelihood (probability) of those outcomes occurring, for example 80 per cent confidence that the project value will be greater than NZ$10 M, 50 per cent confident it will be greater than NZ$50 M and ten per cent confident it will be greater than NZ$70 M. Incorporating risk implicitly into the financial analysis allows the business to easily evaluate/measure projects with different risk profiles. The detailed risk analysis does away with the complexity of arbitrary risk-based hurdle (discount) rates, as projects can be evaluated based on their specific risk characteristics. Whether a project will progress to the next level of investment and ultimately into implementation depends firstly on the value assessment in comparison with the associated risk/uncertainty, and secondly matching this with the businesses appetite for risk. At Solid Energy standard criteria are used for specific project evaluations, but in addition projects are considered on a portfolio or strategic basis also. Solid Energy attempts to maintain a mix of low risk (low value) projects with some high risk (high value) opportunities. The mix of projects must remain in line with the shareholdersÆ risk appetite. One of the keys to a successful investment decision is ensuring that the appropriate information is available to decision-makers so that they may proceed with a comprehensive understanding of the risks and impacts associated with the decision.

Since the days of mandatory high cost pilot plant testing in 6 ft + 2 ft SAG mills autogenous griding/semi-autogenous grinding (AG/SAG), mill specific energy is now calculated by various empirical formulae and pilot testing carried out in small laboratory mills. Barratt (1989) described a method using Bond Indices than adding a single factor of 1.25 to arrive at the AG/SAG specific energy. In 1991 the Canadians developed the SAGPower Index (SPI), test using 2 kg of material in a 300 mm diameter mill. This test has been further developed by Starkey, Hindstrom and Orser (2006). This test now includes a Bond Ball mill work index test.The Macpherson test is still being offered by some testing facilities. This dry test requires at least 180 kg of material.Morrell (2004) formulated an AG/SAG specific energy generator based on a drop weight index Value (DWi). This DWi value is related to the Ab parameter and the material specific gravity. Morrell reconfigured the BondÆs Third Theory formula to cause extra power requirements to be inputed. This technique incorporates the material specific gravity (SG). The AG/SAG specific energy values produced using this method are susceptible to higher values of crushing and rod mill work indices.This paper offered describes a more simple method to generate AG/SAG specific energies. This programme incorporates Bond work indices, the JKMRC parameter Ab measuring impact breakage and the parameter ta measuring the abrasion rate, then employs a series of efficiency values nominated for each transition size (AG/SAG T80). Cannington is a Broken Hill type deposit discovered by BHP Minerals, now BHP Billiton, in 1990. The deposit is located south east of Cloncurry, Queensland, Australia. The deposit occurs in the Eastern succession of the Mount Isa Inlier within the Soldiers Cap Group. The mineralisation is interpreted to be confined to two limbs of a synform wrapped around a core amphibolite. The silver, lead and zinc mineralisation is zoned within silicic and mafic units. There is a strong association between silver and lead. The combination of mafic and silicic zoning, differing relative grades of silver, lead, zinc and iron, the relative position of the mineralisation on the synform limbs and differing metallurgical performances have resulted in the identification of ten different ore types, four of which are currently extracted. Ordinary Kriging (OK) is used as the resource estimation methodology for the silver, lead and zinc mineralisation. This modelling approach has performed quite well for resource reporting and long term mine planning. However the limitations of this modelling technique to adequately provide information on a local stope scale has lead to the geological staff to consider alternatives to this approach. Limitations of the current modelling method apply to both the geometry of the orebodies and the grade variability. Since early-2000 the Cannington geologists have been experimenting with modelling both the distribution of the mineralisation types using Probability Field conditional simulation (PF) and the distribution of grade using Sequential Gaussian Simulation (SGS). This approach to local modelling of mineralisation type and metal grades using conditional simulation (CS) has undergone a full evaluation by comparing grades estimated for stopes using both the (OK) resource model and conditional simulation (CS) models. The mine planning staff have used the CS derived models, and have found improvements in grade predictions over the currently utilised Ordinary Kriging û derived resource model.
