Turkey?s EU affairs started in 1963 with the Ankara Treaty. On 31 December 1995 the Customs Union between Turkey and the European Union came into effect. In order to achieve the Copenhagen Criteria?s, Turkey, made laws parallel to the Framework Programs. On 3 October 2005, with the confirmation of ?Membership Framework Document? the negotiation process of Turkey has started. Coal had important role in the industrialization of EU and it is directly related to Energy and Environmental subjects. In this point many restriction became with the some protocols, in last decades. European Union composed Energy and Coal Policy, therefore engaged to reduce the emissions, and made new regulations. This regulations concern Turkey?s energy future, since large; but low quality of lignite reserves of Turkey, it is expected to have some difficulties with Union?s Environmental Legislation during Turkey?s congruity process. With the last natural gas import agreements of Turkey, the production and consumption of coal sunk in last seven years. However, considering environmental sustainability, the role of coal in energy production will rise up in the coming future. In this paper, in terms of Turkey Energy Sector, production and consumption problems of coal discussed and evaluated considering EU?s coal, energy and environmental rudiments.

"Some sulphide mineral mixtures when exposed to air and a warm and humid environment can exhibit a self-generating temperature rise, referred to as self-heating or spontaneous heating. The observed self-heating derives from the oxidation reactions of the active sulphides. In previous publications by the authors, it was proposed that the self-heating of sulphides proceed in three distinct stages; namely, Stage A, Stage B and Stage C. In Stage A (<100OC) the sulphides, in the presence of moisture are oxidized, generating heat through a series of sequential reactions and forming elemental sulphur as one of the products. In Stage B (>100OC) the elemental sulphur produced in Stage A is further oxidized to generate additional heat and SO2. Stage C (>~380OC), sometimes referred to as thermal runaway or roasting, is not addressed in this paper. This communication focuses on the type and role of elemental sulphur found in Stages A and B, and the sequence of reactions that is occurring in Stage A. The sequence is divided into two phases, the first based on galvanic interaction between the sulphide minerals that generates an acidic environment but little heat, and the second involving the production of H2S which rapidly oxidizes to produce heat and elemental sulphur. To date, data suggest that the primary oxidation product formed in Stage A is the stable orthorhombic a-S8 form of elemental sulphur. Above 96OC the a-S8 transforms to a monoclinic ß-S8 structure which is less stable and will readily oxidize to generate heat and SO2. Above 159OC a proportion of the ß-S8 sulphur will transition to a polymeric Sµ form of sulphur which can readily volatilize. INTRODUCTION Some particulate and granular materials, when exposed to appropriate atmospheric and physical conditions, can exhibit a self-induced temperature rise resulting from accumulated heat due to internal exothermic oxidation reactions. This phenomenon is commonly referred to as self-heating or spontaneous heating. Under favorable physical and environmental conditions, these reactions can elevate the temperature of a given material from ambient to the point of auto-ignition. Self-heating behaviour should not be equated to pyrophoric behaviour which describes a group of materials (e.g. certain finely powdered metals) that will ignite spontaneously in air below 55OC. There are numerous materials such as coals, hay, forestry wood products, food products to name a few that can exhibit self-heating behaviour. This publication continues the focus of the authors on the self-heating of sulphide mineral mixtures. Many of the metals of commercial use found in nature are in the form of these sulphides which must be mined, crushed, ground and concentrated prior to smelting or hydrometallurgical processing in order to produce primary metal. The issues of sulphide self-heating therefore pertain to the mining and processing of metals."

Most of the Indian coking coals are medium coking and of very high ash content. Beneficiation of these coals is a must for their utilisation in coke making. During washing while the ash content of the coal is reduced, the same is expected to affect the reactive-inert ratio and the proportion of various petrographic constituents in the clean coal. This will affect the coking behaviour, including the expansion characteristics, of such coal. An increase in expansion behaviour of coal increases the wall pressure and may damage the battery wall. Therefore, close monitoring of coking properties along with drop in ash is necessary for smooth use of the coal in coke ovens. An effort is, therefore, essential to understand the impact of washing on its coking properties. The studies were carried out with captive coals of Tata Steel, India. Three medium coking coal samples namely, VII A, VI A and XI SEB seam coals of West Bokaro Colliery were used for the study. The coal samples after washing to different ash levels were subjected to the following analysis: proximate, crucible swelling number (CSN), LT GK test, dilatometer and plastometer tests and petrography. The experimental data were then analysed to assess the relationship of various coking properties of the coal with its ash content. The studies clearly show that there is a strong impact of beneficiation of the coal on its coking behaviour. The impacts are more at lower level of ash in the clean coal. In general, the coking properties increase with a decrease in ash. This is primarily due to an enrichment of vitrinte materials in the clean coal and an increase in the reactive-inert ratio in the coals. However, the most important impact of the lowering ash is on the increase in the swelling nature of the coal. The coals with lower ash become highly expanding in nature. This may be very critical from operations of coke ovens point of view, especially stamp charged coke ovens. Necessary precaution should be taken in selecting the other coal blend constituents when these coals are beneficiated to a very low level of ash content.

Associated with the development of a novel microbiological oxidation process for the conditioning of iron hydroxide slurries from ferrous mine waters, there is a realistic chance to make the contained iron available for a material utilization. The transformation of ferrous into ferric compounds is coupled with the precipitation of iron hydroxisulphate mostly in terms of the mineral Schwert-mannite. The further treatment of the iron hydroxisulphate has to be aimed on the processing for product recovery and product refinement. For many potential applications, e.g. in the ceramic industry, the pigment industry or for metallurgical applications, the removal of sulphate is essential. For the dehydration of the iron hydroxisulphate and the sulphate removal, microwave heating technology is a beneficial method. In contrast to conventional thermal heating processes the supply of energy in microwave application takes place directly within the material through the dissipation of electromagnetic energy, i.e. no heating medium is needed. It is a volumetric heating process regardless of the surface of the material. The rapid and targeted energy supply and the good controllability of microwave heating systems are advantages which have led to a wide variety of applications in industrial processes. Among the diverse use for heating of temperature-sensitive, chemical and pharmaceutical products as well as foodstuffs the number of applications also in mineral and solid processing increases. At the Department for Mechanical Process Engineering and Solids Processing of the Technical University Berlin the use of microwave technology for the treatment of iron hydroxisulphates has been investigated systematically within the framework of a cooperative research project. The paper at hand shows results from material conversion tests subject to a variation of the relevant process parameters. The reaction products are characterized and the process is compared with the conventional heating in a rotary kiln.

Coal, as energy resource, possesses numerous characteristics and properties which all have an influence on its gasification behaviour. The two properties considered as critically important when evaluating a coal source for gasification is its mineral content and slagging behaviour. Research has indicated that slagging formation can be inhibited or even prevented by the addition of a fluxing agent. It is thus of great importance to understand the mineral interaction during gasification in order to select a suitable fluxing agent for the prevention of slagging and clinker formation in the gasifier. The aim of the present project is to evaluate the effect of iron as a fluxing agent and study the transformation of the mineral and added iron during gasification. A pre-determined amount of pure elemental iron (between 2wt% and 20wt%) was added to a base case coal sample in order to study the effect of the addition of iron to the coal. The transformation of the iron in conjunction with the possible iron containing minerals present in the coal was studied by means of Mössbauer analyses. Typical characterisation techniques included proximate analyses, ultimate analyses and ash composition analyses. The ash fusion temperature analyses (AFT) were used to study and predict the slagging behaviour of the iron-spiked coal samples. Even though AFT analyses only provide an average flow property, it gives a good indication of the changes that the iron addition induces on coal properties. FactSage modelling was carried out in conjunction with the Mössbauer and AFT analyses. From the proximate, ultimate and ash composition analyses it was clear that the coal used con-formed to the average characteristics measured over an extended time period. From the AFT values it was seen that an increase in the flow temperature occurred with the addition of pure elemental iron to the coal, which can be of importance for operational purposes as to raise the gasifier temperature and not to have slagging problems to occur in the gasifier. The Mössbauer data show that he-matite is the main Fe-component that forms from the pyrite originally present and from the added iron to the coal, consistent with FactSage modelling, which shows that the partial oxygen pressure determines which mineral species will form. This study opens up new possibilities when considering operational problems experienced in in-dustrial gasifiers. Successful completion of this study and a study to look at reducing conditions in the gasifier will also add to the knowledge that already exists regarding fluxing agents.

There are rich resources of natural graphite in China. It would be a good opportunity to upgrade national graphite industry if natural graphite with modification is used in lithium ion battery. Micro-crystalline graphite in high purity was coated with a carbon film on the surface. The initial cycle efficiency was improved to be 89.9% and cycle stability was remarkably improved. The experiments proved that microcrystalline graphite with carbon coating have excellent electrochemical performances at low cost as anode materials for lithium-ion battery. In addition, H2SO4-GIC technique was used to prepare the natural flake graphite powders with mild-exfoliation. Sub-micro and nano pores were found in the graphite samples. In correspondence the reversible capacity, rate capacity and cycle life were improved, which would meet the demand of high-power lithium-ion battery. Natural graphite is the most promising anode material for large-scale lithium-ion batteries. The demand of modified graphite grows up greatly in the market. Microcrystalline graphite with surface coating and flake graphite with mild-exfoliation are the promising commercial anode materials for the industry of lithium ion battery.

"The most important metals in the jewelry sector are undoubtedly gold and silver. As a result of workmanship work done in the jewelry industry, the tiny metal and jewel fragments and metallic powders are scattered. Given the prices of gold and silver on the market, the dust that emanates from these workshops is of great importance. Gold recycling has become as important as raw material production within the mass market and gold production industry. In 2016, 29% of the world gold supply has been obtained through recycled gold production. Waste derived from jewelry activity is included in this category, and represents an essential component of this percentage. In the scope of this study, the recovery possibilities of Au and Ag from jewelry sweeps floor sample was investigated using flotation method. In the experiments, optimum pH value, particle size, the effect of dispersant, type and amount of reagent were investigated. As a result of these studies, it was determined that the optimum pH value was 6.5 and the particle size was -212 microns. It was observed that the most suitable reactive combination was Aero 242 and Aerophine 3418A and Na2SiO3 has no positive effect on recovery of Au and Ag as a dispersant agent. As a result of tests, a final concentrate containing 268 ppm Au and 2122 ppm Ag was obtained with 81.4% and 74.5% recovery respectively. INTRODUCTION Because of the softness of pure gold, it is usually alloyed with base metals for use in jewelry, altering its hardness and ductility, melting point, color and other properties. On the other hand, gold has some special chemical properties which in normal conditions, don’t react with water, dry or humid air, oxygen, ozone, nitrogen, hydrogen, fluorine, iodine, sulfur and hydrogen. In these days, gold is used in different sectors like jewelry, electronics, finances and investing, dentistry, medicine, aerospace, awards & status symbols. According to Deutsche Bank Research, the primary usage of gold is jewelry. It has been used to make ornament and jewelry for thousands of years. Producing robust agglomerates with desirable structural properties is the key to success of the heap leaching of complex, low-grade nickel laterite ores. Mechanically strong but porous agglomerates with narrow size distribution (e.g., 5 ? 40 mm) are required to build permeable and perennially stable heaps of 4 ? 10 m height. The characterization of granules? microstructure is essential for greater understanding and correlation with the concomitant mechanical properties and robustness. In this study, we used non-destructive, computed X-Ray tomography analyses and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in tandem with conventional compressive strength,and integrity/stability tests to draw links between nickel (Ni) laterite agglomerate strength/stability, internal microstructure (e.g.,porosity, inter-particle bridges) and binder type. It is shown that binder composition (e.g., tap water vs. 30% w/w H2SO4) and post-agglomeration drying both significantly impact on granules? physicochemical and microstructural properties. Acidic binder, in contrast with tap water, leads to significant incongruent leaching of different species from particles during ore-binder mixing and agglomeration. Upon wet agglomerate curing, solidified/recrystallized leached species form strong intra-granular solid bridges which, lead to greater compressive strength of dry agglomerates. Structural stability/integrity of cured agglomerates in acidic solution, however, decreases dramatically due to greater porosity and acid solubility of intra-granular solid bridges. These findings are useful in shedding more light on agglomerate structure characteristics and their optimization for enhanced column and heap leaching with concentrated sulphuric acid.

The objective of this work is to investigate the inadequacies of current CFD based methodologies of model development for predicting combustion behavior of pulverized coal in furnaces. In the present paper, a steady state CFD model was used for in-depth analysis of pulverized coal combustion. The model accounts for turbulence, coal combustion, convective and radiative heat transfer and motion of coal particles. It also uses coal combustion models to account for important processes such as devolatilization, combustion of char and the evolution of fuel nitrogen during coal combustion. The model predicts fluid flow, heat transfer, progress of combustion and pollutant formation (NOx, etc.). The model uses several parameters, which need to be tuned with experimental data, which is not only limited in quantity but also insufficient in detail. Various existing methodologies like part calibration method for tuning of the parameters are discussed. In the present work, the parameters associated with coal combustion models were tuned and validated with published data obtained from an experimental furnace using one such part calibration methodology. The results clearly show that the model predictions differed with the experimental data not only quantitatively but also qualitatively. These discrepancies were attributed to part calibration methodology. A detailed parametric study was carried out to demonstrate the importance of parameters from various classes, namely, combustion kinetics, heat transfer, process and geometry parameters, and CFD model parameters. This investigation clearly indicates that parameters from different classes have significant effect on combustion behavior. The discrepancies in current methodology are discussed and a need for comprehensive methodology is highlighted. The t10 relationship developed by Narayanan and Whiten has underpinned a number of the JKMRC models and the characterisation of ore competence through impact testing with the drop weight tester. This usefulness is based on a consistent relationship between the t10 value and the overall size distribution that was noted for brittle rocks. However, like all characterisation tests this should be used only when the controlling conditions apply, which in this case is single impact breakage between two metal platens and within the range of sizes in which fragment sizes are normalizable. For any other mode of breakage the relationship should be confirmed before being applied. Soft ores or bimodal ores with widely different competence between dominant components have non-typical breakage signatures. Breakage via single point impact abrasion, compressed-bed breakage, low-energy surface breakage and incremental breakage, to name some of the other breakage modes, do not obey the general t10 relationship, so their outcomes cannot be used to provide a direct comparison. Inappropriate use of the t10 parameter can result in misleading conclusions about efficiency of energy use. These issues and alternative comparison techniques are presented and discussed in terms of choosing appropriate measures of efficiency of breakage, ore competence and energy required for comminution.

HermesTM metal magnetic liner (MML) has been invented and manufactured by China Metallurgy and Mining General Co. (CMMC). This paper describes its mechanism, structure, magnetic field distribution, application, economic benefit and safety performance. The 10 years? service life in Benxi Steel?s Waitoushan Mine, along with 6 years? technological analysis on its application in 5500mm×8800mm (diameter × length) ball mill in Anshan Steel?s Diaojuntai mineral processing plant, has proved its advantages such as super reliability, long service life, light weight, thin thickness, low noise and short payback period. It has also demonstrated its positive effects on the grinding process such as high productivity, energy-effective performance and low consumption of grinding media. It reduces labour intensity and improves working conditions, due to its easy installation, free maintenance and the fact that it doesn?t require fastening bolts or cause slurry leakage. It is de-signed scientifically in accordance with the varieties of processing lines, mill specification, ore type and grinding media, and has been applied in different grinding processes for magnetite, hematite, gold ores, nonferrous ores and other materials. HermesTM MML has three types of products: General, Composite and Heavy-duty. They are designed to meet the requirements from customers in China and abroad. So far, more than 400 sets of MML have been applied in ball mills with diameter rang-ing from 1500mm to 5500mm. It has become highly popular in American market recently due to its safe and effective performance.

Most of the quantity of the water soluble xanthates, used in mineral flotation, is consumed in the process. However, the residue amounts are water contaminants downstream the mineral processing operations and can be toxic to aquatic biota at concentrations of 1 mg/L. In order to be able to discharge water from tailing ponds to natural water bodies the concentration of xanthates has to be decreased. The present paper studies the uptake of potassium ethyl xanthate by directly modified with copper and lead ions natural zeolitic rock, without passing through zeolite transformation into homoionic form. Modified zeolite exhibits high, comparable with powdered activated carbon of chemical purity grade, capacity to remove potassium ethyl xanthate from model wastewater, with pH in the range of 7?9 and pollutant concentration in the range of 10-150 mg/L. The pollutant immobilization is fast. Both Cu and Pb modified zeolite behave as selective with respect to xanthate in the model wastewater, and Cu-modified zeolite possesses higher selectivity. This paper will underpin the future development of intellectuals having greater understanding of patent law and legislation, IP rights, and innovation. To understand this idea, I present a case study of China?s progress in the last 31 years in the rare earth research, innovation, and simultaneously patents area. Rare earth elements (REE) are at the centre of high technology and are the next wave of world innovation. Much of modern society depends on rare earth elements through their use in computers, lasers, telecommunications, iPods, medical technology, military applications, and so on (Long et al, 2010). The rare earth research, a large research body is being provided by Chinese sources. China devoted three or four university centers to the study of rare earths (Lifton, 2009). These measures are all designed to keep China at the forefront of REE production, materials, technology, and innovation. As a result in the last fifteen years there has been a shift from a US-dominated REE industry patents to Chinese patents. The world must identify strategic areas of rare earth innovation and provide funding to firms and universities that conduct such research. Not only research and innovation is vital but filing patents and preserving IP rights for research and innovation is even more important. We (rest of the world) need a comprehensive strategy to guide the development of patent and IP rights for research and innovation. The Arctic is a region of special economic, geopolitical, research, socio-ethnic, and defense interests of both Russia and other countries of the Arctic zone. Introduction of innovation technologies at ore-processing factories is a direct responsibility of the state and this problem should be solved on the basis of coordination of interests of different stakeholders. The task of elaboration of scientific principles of rational state regulation in the North is very topical. Innovations require considerable investments first of all from private capital. However as an investment object innovations are not attractive for investors as they require large expenditures for long-term projects, and they are connected to high risks because market incentives form striving to get quick profits of private companies and result in a certain behaviour strategy while innovations need ?long money?. Under such conditions without state regulation of investment and innovation activities development of the mining sector in the Arctic practically has no prospects. At innovation development of mining enterprises economic growth is provided at the expense of active state innovation activities. The elaborated strategy of ore-processing enterprises should correspond to the modern paradigm of the ore-processing industry development which is not only for extraction of minerals but also for multi-profile structure having comprehensive use of the resources on the rational basis intended for rational complex utilization of mineral resources of the AZR which by the definition includes maximally full use of the whole aggregate of resources on the economically rational basis with obligatory environmental with resource reproductive and socio-economic functions and deterrents. The main principle of creation of innovation technologies is to obtain more products of higher quality with minimal costs. This allows increasing ?productivity of the resources? several times. This principle makes increasing productivity of the resources the most important and in this case efficiency of use of the resources brings extra profits at the expense of lack of new costs such as payment for protection and utilization of wastes. According to the economic theory only ratio between demand and supply is able to fix optimal proportions in economy and to give necessary signals for investment activities of mining enterprises. In this context market for minerals and increase of mineral resources productivity do not create incentives for investment activities without which neither sustainable economic growth nor solution of macroeconomic tasks are possible. Nevertheless countries should not reject this idea in spite of economic efficiency of the enterprises. Extraction degree of useful components and especially oil in the Arctic zone is one of the lowest in the world. This can lead to crisis of oil industry and other mining sectors. The reason for that is lack of a state policy of realization of innovation technologies in the mining sector in the Arctic.

India plans to increase the nuclear power share in overall energy-mix to about 30% by 2032 using both indigenous and imported reactor technologies. In the immediate time-frame, it is envisaged to generate 10000 MW electricity by PHWR technology by 2020 using indigenous uranium resources. This necessitates setting-up of new uranium mills and augmenting the existing resource, mining and milling capacities. "This paper argues that, although specialist mineral engineering expertise is essential for the efficient design and operation of mineral processing plants, the environment in which these skills are supplied to the industry has changed forever, and not for the better. Most of the mineral engineering programmes in western universities have died or are dying. The long-service mine site mentors have gone, operations are run on a staffing shoestring so that there is no longer the time (or inclination) for considered decision-making, and the FIFO model has discouraged continuity of optimisation projects and communication between professionals. At the same time the technical challenges of designing and operating effective process plants are increasing. These trends are not going to be reversed any time soon, if ever. The ability to run efficient mineral processing operations has been materially compromised as a consequence. We propose that well-designed professional development can help to recover this situation, and it can be done easily and cheaply. The workplace is the best environment for such skills development. Professional development training should be integrated with normal duties throughout the early years of a graduate’s service (and probably beyond), and the cost should be regarded as non-discretionary expenditure for the business. If such programmes are properly resourced and managed and extended over longer time periods, there will be a measureable rise in the level of technical understanding and competence within companies and a resulting beneficial impact on resource utilisation and thus shareholder value. The paper outlines some of the approaches that we believe will work, and the benefits that we expect will accrue."

Generally speaking, wastewater coming from the metallurgical process for recovering precious metal contains precious metals such as gold (Au), platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd), Silver (Ag), etc., which concentration is about 10 mg/L. In addition, there are other metals such as copper (Cu), iron (Fe), which concentration varies from several mg/L to more than 10,000 mg/L. It should be noted that the concentration of metals in wastewater is relatively high, considering the fact that these metals of similar concentration can be found in ores. However, most of these valuable metals are not treated, due to the high processing cost and technical problems. Within this frame, the authors put forward a new process that includes neutralization/reduction, precipitation and fusion. The idea is to recover and recycle Au, Ag, and Pd metals as well as protecting the environment by saving the resources. It was found that this new process was able to recover more than 90% of Au, Ag and Pd.

ACC ECOSAND is finely powdered crystalline silica, which can replace natural sand usage in concrete and plasters. ACC ECOSAND ensures a comparatively denser concrete than those made only with natural sand and / or quarry fines / Manufactured Sand (Artificial Sand). Moreover, there is a significant gain in compressive strength (10-15 %) & durability in concretes (Reduced chloride conductivity leads to increased durability). ECOSAND is a by-product of froth flotation of limestone. At ACC Madukkarai cement works, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, full-fledged mineral beneficiation process is adopted to enhance the usage of flotation reject in concrete and plasters. Optimum level for usage of ECO-SAND is 50%. With 50% usage of natural sand+50% ECO-SAND in concrete mix, 1 day, 3 day, 7 day & 28 day compressive strength is increased by 30.1 %, 22.6 %, 15.1 % & 11.0 % respectively and with moderate chloride permeability as compare to 100% Natural Sand. "This paper explores the complex interrelationship between the resource cycle, recycling and metal production as a function of economics, environmental legislation, and product design. It is argued that central to optimising this resource cycle lies the control in particular of physical separation plants by the application of advanced sensor technology and sorting equipment, as well as suitable control and sampling algorithms supported by optimising mass balance models.Metals are produced through a long chain of processes. For primary resources, metals production goes through mining, mineral processing, ore smelting, conversion and refining steps or via low temperature hydrometallurgical processes, or a combination of both pyro- and hydrometallurgical operations. For the recycling of resources, metals are separated and recovered from metal scrap, which plays an increasingly important role in the world. Metals after being produced, either from primary or recycling resources, have to be further refined or manufactured into various types of alloys and finally shaped into different products for the end-users. Since the end-user discards products the contained materials find their way back into the resource cycle as scrap. Therefore, controlling the metallurgical reactors also controls, in a much broader sense, the material quality in the complete metals cycle, from the production phase, to the end-use phase, up to the recycling phase (Reuter et al., 2003). The recycling phase includes separation of materials into saleable intermediate products, which are reintroduced into the production phase as a recycling resource. Therefore, the metallurgical processes in each unit operation in the metals production and processing chain have to be controlled, so as to achieve optimal performance of high product quality, low energy and materials consumption, and low environmental impact."

The ore, dealt with in this paper, is a certain rutile in Shanxi province, China. A trunk flowsheet with gravity concentration is used, and the TiO2 grade of rutile concentrate is about 90%, but the TiO2 recovery is less than 50%. In order to increase the rutile recovery, the laboratory test, using the truck flowsheet with flotation, is carried out. The flowsheet is that firstly floatable gangue is re-moved by flotation; secondly rutile is recovered by flotation; and thirdly impurity is separated by LIMS, HIMS, gravity concentration and flotation from the rutile concentrate. In rutile flotation, BK423, a phosphonic acid, is used as rutile collector, and Na2SiF6 is used as silicates depressant. The experimental result shows that the recovery of rutile concentrate is improved obviously, and the recovery of ultimate rutile concentrate is 68.01% TiO2 and 84.88% rutile. The TiO2 grade of first concentrate is 95.98%, and the TiO2 recovery is 45.60%. The TiO2 grade of second concentrate is 80.53%, and the recovery is 22.41%. Furthermore, magnetite and ilmenite are recovered in the flowsheet.
